BLUE RIDGE TREK 3
The chalet on the right was refuge for a night of snow and high winds in Little Switzerland, N.C. The snow wasn't heavy, just a half inch, but the wind made it seem like a mini blizzard. The chalet is part of Little Switzerland Inn and Restaurant. The restaurant was a dining pleasure. Below, Louise watches snow flurries swirl around the parking lot. A Parkway scene to the right. Under the chalet is a view to the rear of the Little Switzerland Inn just after it stopped snowing. The shops below the Inn were for the most part closed. No cafe's were open.
